NVAIR G. DEUKMEJIAN

Since her admission to the California State Bar in January 2021, Nvair G. Deukmejian has represented public agencies, handling a variety of public agency transactional matters. Mrs. Deukmejian advises and assists public agency and municipal clients in several different areas including, but not limited to, Public Records Act, election matters, drafting contracts, ordinances and resolutions, Ralph M. Brown Act, the California Voting Rights Act, land use, planning and community development, public works, commercial cannabis business licensing and regulations, and project labor agreements. 

Mrs. Deukmejian earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School where she concentrated on contract law and several other transactional practice areas. Mrs. Deukmejian was a Dean’s Merit Scholar throughout her time at Southwestern Law School and earned a Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Contracts.  

While in law school, Mrs. Deukmejian served as a judicial intern to a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge. In addition, during her law school career, Mrs. Deukmejian served as a law clerk for both a private worker’s compensation law firm and a solo practitioner engaged in a general practice of law. Mrs. Deukmejian earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine, and is fluent in Armenian.
